Drumkit Lesson

Depending on our initial consultation, we will delve deeply into many topics and techniques. Aspects covered will include playing with groove, dynamics, linear patterns, feet exercises, soloing, "playing for the song", developing your uniqueness as a player, and covering multiple different styles and layering of sounds.

Extended techniques also covered. Limitless topics are possible.

I will provide written lesson materials.

Please book an Initial Consultation with David (15 minutes) before booking your first Drumkit lesson.

You will need a good functioning metronome - digital or analog.

In your lesson, please have an acoustic kit or at least one or two instruments (such as cymbal and snare for example) - electronic kit is acceptable as long as it can be heard in the room without headphones.
